Category one Self-drive car hire

Sometime you might want to drive your own adventure especially if you have a Tanzanian map on your hand, there are so many advantages if you want to explore Tanzania on yourself for unlimited mileage whether you want to visit national parks or you want to explore the whole country diversity.

This category gives you unlimited time to any adventure you will embark on within the Tanzanian boundaries and if you will need assistance we will provide one anytime anywhere.

The vehicles that will be hired in this category include all types of 4*4 vehicles i.e. Safari Land cruiser 7 seaters and 5 seaters and other 4*4 as they look in the photos below.

Category two car hire with Chauffeur/Driver

If you have your itinerary in your hands and you don’t want to get tired driving around but you want to sit back and relax while your driver is tracking down your itinerary then this category fits you very well and don’t worry our driver have a good reputation on the road and apart from being good drivers they are professional guides too, so you will get both advantages being driven to your exact destinations and also being guided to the different environments.

Tanzania roads Tips!

Almost 60% of Tanzania urban roads are paved especially those connecting Tanzanian regions there are very few which are still unpaved but the constructions are undergoing to finish most of them.

Most roads inside the Tanzania National parks are unpaved so expect bumpy roads in all National parks except few of them like Mikumi national park which is paved in some part because the Morogoro-Iringa Highway passes inside the National park Tanzania Roads like any other roads around the world have road signs so during driving one should take heed to road signs to avoid road accidents.

Driving on Tanzania roads one requires a valid road license for foreigners they will use the license of their country of their origin, it’s strictly prohibited to drive without a driving license.

Fuel/Gas is available along the roads so you will be able to fill up the gas/fuel anytime anywhere on the petrol stations.

Insurance, All vehicles using Tanzania roads are required to be insured so it’s very necessary to be given all the necessary papers including insurance, Latra papers etc. before starting any road trip in order to avoid unnecessary checkup along the roads. Tanzania road systems are left sided.

It is mandatory to fasten the seat belt during driving on Tanzania roads. It is not allowed to drink alcohol and drive on Tanzania roads.

If you want to drive a foreign vehicle you are required to collect the proper paper work to do so.
