AMREF flying doctors is a medical emergency company based in East Africa providing air ambulance for medical emergencies, this means incase of any emergency during safari activities they will airlift the victim to the nearest yet best hospital in Nairobi Kenya.

Although this insurance is not obligatory, we recommend you book one in case of any medical emergency during your Tanzania holiday.

Medical insurance charges

Maisha short term bronze: $10 p.p. for 15 days
Maisha short term silver: $24 p.p. for 1 month.
Maisha short term gold: $32 p.p. for 1 month.
Maisha short term platinum: $80 p.p. for 1 month.

All hospital costs, medical treatments and medicines are not included in this service, so in addition to the membership you should have an adequate travel health insurance.
